I'm currently reading John Robins' book Thirst about his life and struggles with alcohol. It is so good. I think it's as good as Bryony Gordon's book Glorious Rock Bottom which I also got really invested in. I highly recommend.

This month I have solo gigs of Tom Davis and Phil Ellis. I have pledged to do more stuff on my own, mainly because my mates live all over the place and it can be hard to get together. Looking forward to both of those gigs.

I dyed my hair today and I managed to do it without the bathroom looking like a murder scene, so I count that as a win. I did however miss a significant portion of my hair. I am so bad at colouring my hair considering I've done it for most of my adult life.

It's going to be a really busy week this coming week. In the office three times which should be illegal. The pandemic really highlighted how terrible the hour-each-way commute is. Still, I will be seeing Alex at the weekend so that's what I'm focusing on.

I made the football but unfortunately Chesham lost 4-0. I did some pictures and it was a really fabulous day to watch football. I also got a cuddle from Alex Horne instigated by him so the whole day was worth it 🤣

I went to a charity thing yesterday for rhino conservation which just so happened to be headlined by Alex Horne. I drove there and he parked next to me, we had a quick chat and then I watched essentially a non celebrity version of Taskmaster. It was excellent!

I’m watching how the Tudors Lost Their Heads and this episode is about Anne Boleyn, a victim of misogyny. I’m not religious nor spiritual but when I stood at Traitor’s Gate at the Tower of London, I had an overwhelming feeling of dread, panic, and anxiety. I had to deep breathe until it passed.

This is my fella. We have been together for over twenty years. He took me out to dinner for my birthday. Look at his face. He doesn't have any social media other than Instagram and spends his time arguing with Americans on YouTube. The first time we met, a male prisoner punched me in the face.

I went out yesterday to Miller & Carter and had a delicious steak. I did not eat the lettuce wedge nonsense though. It's a weird idea anyway but I do not like sauces so it's even more redundant for me. Surely the lettuce is simply a vehicle for the sauce?

We saw a whole new c*nty side of Horne in #NMJ Set 3 Ep 5 with Hogangate. Absolutely incredible stuff. Watto couldn't keep the shock and surprise at Horne's behaviour off his face. Then we had, "did I ruin the game?" like a lost little boy. Monumental.

I promised some photos from my day out and then I totally forgot but fear not, here we are. The Shard was excellent, expensive but worth it for a special occasion. Here is a cocktail that I had 4 of as part of the cocktail package and they were £16 each but the package was £25. I beat the system.

I had a great time yesterday at the British museum, even though I was surrounded by other humans which is never optimal. At one point I was surrounded by books which was awesome.

I've just watched the first episode of the new series of #Ludwig and it was brilliant. I really enjoyed it. David Mitchell while on first glance is basically playing himself, is actually a very good actor. I'd actually forgotten how much I liked the first series. Eeee, so much to look forward to.
