I explored South Queensferry, where the Forth railway bridge is stunning. I remembered it from Molly and Mack on CBeebies TV, which I watched with my grandson. Who else saw the programme back then? Read more here: wordloft.co.uk/blog/snippet... #forthbridge #southqueensferry #riverforth #scotland

Cawdor Castle's architecture appears younger than it is, but I noticed a gilt-decorated coat of arms dated 1672. However, it is believed to have been built around a legendary holly tree 600 years ago. Blog post: wordloft.co.uk/blog/beyond-... #cawdorcastle #highlands #scotland #castles #gardens

In The Tenement House, Glasgow, I was immersed in Agnes Toward's life. She was ordinary, but kept all sorts of things from 1911 onwards. Her home was decorated infrequently, and it became the time capsule it is today. Blog post: wordloft.co.uk/blog/tenemen... #tenementhouse #glasgow #scotland
