This and that epiphany/eureka moment. All about the subjective reality perception. Nothing I write is a fact. Writer of the blog SuddenTruth.de Quotes are mostly just stand-alone thoughts.

We live in a society in the West where ‚winning‘ leads to avoidance of self-reflection. … It’s kind of funny and sad at the same time. … And it makes the downfall of certain things more predictable.

Überlegt euch was Besseres, ernsthaft.

"Follow the money." is so yesterday. "Follow the power hierarchy and emotional systems." is the new perspective.

More power won't make you more emotionally intelligent. And power in the hands of those that have no emotional self-awareness becomes destructive as they abuse this power while being in emotional survival mode.

People use whataboutism to avoid taking on responsibility. It's pure avoidance.

This whole AI scrapers going after Cara thing is really driving home how much the mentality of these people is the same as an abuser. The lack of consent excites them. It turns them on. And that's deeply messed up and pathetic.

"If we focus only on our own pain, we become blind to the pain of others, of the world." Hmm...

"No one knows pain like me." A sentence stuck in my head because it feels like people could relate to it. If not consciously, subconsciously. It's also a sentence that can be abused as justification for the own cruel deeds. It shows someone who has never felt seen and was always in survival mode.

Will we treat others like how we treat ourselves? If we can't see the complexity of ourselves, can we really see others for who they are? Or are we going to use communities as projection surface for our worldview? Do you even wonder about who you are? (2/2)

Suddentruth @suddentruth.de · 19/08/2026
What's the smallest community we can have? It's the one with ourselves. Who are we if not all of our past, present, and future versions? Why am I asking this? Too often we seek a community on the outside but don't even have a relationship with ourselves. (1/2)

An unfinished thought but... "Fascism seems to be like a self-harming behavior of a society that struggles with its own identity and how to have impact on the world that feels good for it. It's a way to gain a feeling of control over its existence while hurting itself."

Just another tool won't save you. There is no technosalvation. Learn instead to communicate means to express yourself and listen to others. At the same time be aware that others also won't be perfect in communicating but struggle. ... Find a common, relatable ground and work up from there.

EVERY language is an abstraction. No matter it mathematical language, spoken language or whatever kind of language. Languages are used to communicate reality perceptions. Which are again abstractions of reality.

And this fact actually gives me hope and shows me how to prioritize statements from people ... are they directly affect or do they spill hate from a position of privilege and ignorance?
000
Suddentruth @suddentruth.de · 31/07/2026
There's something I noticed these days. If you take a look at tragic events, the people that are directly affected there often show a lot of solidarity. ... Only people far away often then come up with vile, racists statements. Especially one social media, people like to spill their hate.

Really loved the representation of Lune in the game "Claire Obscure: Expedition 33". Not necessarily because I idealized her or loved her behavior but because her character, actions, and answers felt so matching to my personality. It's rare for me to identify myself with a character that deeply.

Talking to and knowing your neighbors brings you more safety than any surveillance technology can. And I don't mean that you need to agree in everything with your neighbors but it means to know them good enough so that they are no foreigners to you anymore. This will also reduce your fear.

Also, empathieloser Mist.

It's all important and helpful to know with which kind of scale we resonate the most but also how we can still communicate with others, even if their reality perception is very different. For those that are curious about it, it's available for free on my blog. suddentruth.de/book-seeds-o... 4/4

Best way to create change in a society is not to try to communicate with those in power but with others in society. Do the opposite of "divide and conquer". Come together and grow. Talk to each other instead of about each other. Humanize yourself and others. And know when to stop discussing.

And societies fear their own death, just like humans. And still, suddenly they die.
000
Suddentruth @suddentruth.de · 01/07/2026
Societies don't live forever, just like humans don't. It's always the question what the societies that rise from the ashes of those before learned from the past society and whether it reflected itself to get to a new level of understanding.

To make this point more clear. Are you making the best decisions if you are confronted with something that stresses you and drains your resources extremely fast? Can you still be wise and in your "zen" mode in such a situation? Things that apply to individuals often apply also to societies.

Humankind needs to get out of survival mode into its thriving mode. We cope too much with avoidance of reality. This is what brings humankind closer to extinction.
000
Suddentruth @suddentruth.de · 25/06/2026
Maybe so many of us humans struggle to change because we never learned to cope in a healthy way with the emotions that come up when we enact change.

"The thing that will lead to the downfall of capitalism and colonialism is actually themselves. It isn't sustainable and will eat itself once it fails to exploit the physical and mental world. And they can't push for innovations because widespread knowledge is actually a threat to them."
