suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 11/10/2026My brother just told me about "decompiling" and how you can now play bootleg GTA 5 on a PC. Its making me worried we may get GTA 6 before we get GTA 6. 000
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I would like to add the word "wurse" to my vocabulary. Because a man purse is a "murse" and "purse", being the original term, should be the gender neutral term. So we need the word "wurse" to describe a distinctly feminine purse. 000
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Those of us who cant grow one of these on our face have to make our own fun. 000
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 06/10/2026My work sent me to an AI course where the instructor taught us how to prompt AI to write prompts for you. Im not making this up. 150
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Kinda crazy to brutalize protesters in the country that popularized the use of the guillotine. 000
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I read an article yesterday about how Talarico is driving a wedge here, because yeah the church tells people they have to vote trump even if trumps behavior is completely against Christian teachings, because democrats are "demonic". So youre not the only one who has noticed this correlation. 040
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I used to when I had a cat. But I have dogs now, and you cant do this with dogs. They chomp first, ask questions after. 110
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Dude its a massive stretch wdym 😭 this is a well studied issue which is why I urged you to look it up. How would spanking even stop a kid from shooting up their school? What is the possible mechanism of action? 120
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 23/09/2026My brother in christ, this is something you can look up on the internet. You dont have to wonder aloud for all to hear. 120

suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Ah yeah, I looked back and see where the confusion came from. The character limit will make fools of us all. 010
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Two different people. I wouldnt call the flock person (or people?) Robin Hood. They weren't stealing from the rich to give to the poor. They were guerilla fighting against the police state. The guy who set fire to his workplace made sure everyone was out on break before setting fire to the warehouse 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 19/09/2026To be fair, someone brought a metal cutter and stole every single flock camera in their town. Pole and all. And so far has gotten away with it. Amd that guy set fire to his workplace. Its not that people are doing nothing, its that this stuff takes time to build up. 210
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 18/09/2026This is cool but like can we please stop selling all our public goods to private corporations? Im scared to fly under privatized airports and air traffic control. I dont want to risk dying in a fiery plane crash just to visit my family. 000

suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026One time, I dogsat 2 dachshunds that were kept together in a crate that was barely big enough for even one of them. All day while the owners were at work, and all night while the owners slept. Those dogs were... not okay. But its not illegal so there was nothing I could do about it. 000
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Using crates is often a matter of keeping them safe when they cant be relied on to not get up to some dumb shit while youre unconscious or out of the house lol. Having said that, some people go overboard with it. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Its honestly not that dangerous in case of a fire, because your pet cant skitter off to some hidey hole. You know exactly where they are and can retrieve them quickly for evacuation. This really only applies if their crate is in your bedroom though. If its in another part of the house then uh oh. 160
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Welp, its exactly what I expected, but longer. I already addressed most of the points in your "article" so there's nothing else to say. And no, I didnt expect you to read all the articles I posted lol. I sort of assumed you wouldn't tbh. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026They are and I already explained why. And so did a number of the articles I posted. Anyways I gotta eat and do chores and live my life. Good luck out there. You're gonna need it. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Its just the most recent example from the news that I've seen of a mega data center wasting a ton of water. You can hyperfixate on it if you want and ignore everything else. It won't make you any more correct though. And it probably won't make you feel better either. 200
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Do I need to spam you with articles about the psychological tricks used by these chat bots, and the very real dangers and harms they bring? Heroin also has a lot of active users. That doesnt make it useful. 200
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Its one example among many. Like water bills soaring. Reservoirs emptying. Droughts worsening. Usage increasing year over year. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Your original claim that started this argument was that the use of water is overblown. You're wrong, and I know youre wrong because Ive been following the news. A burst pipe going to cool a mega data center is a real hazard of these structures. It was crypto mining this time. It could be AI next. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Yes I did, and yes I know that. If you dont want to be spammed with articles then stop demanding that people show their work or do their "research". These are all articles that Ive seen come across my news feed over the last year or two. Massive data centers use a lot of water. Thats the point. 200
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026We also use a lot of water for things that are bad. Like grass lawns and beef/fairy. But the majority of people demanding a reduction in AI data centers are also opposed to other bad water usages like those. Our position is consistent. We care about our only home and dont want to ruin it. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026It does have a significant impact. And a lot of the things we use water for are ACTUALLY USEFUL. Like nutrition. Or hydration. Hygiene. Or storing data we need to make the internet run. Or generating electricity that powers our homes. 100

suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026No I didnt because I was at the dog park. Enjoying some nature while we still have it. And I may look to see if they actually have any sources, but I already suspect its going to be the same old arguments with little facts. If the water use is overblown, then where the fuck is all the water going? 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Thats not an article, its a blog. The environmental impacts are impossible to ignore. Water loss, heat generation, particulate release into the air, noise pollution... the evidence of their damage is mounting fast. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Every time you do an internet search, write an email with google or outlook, work on an Adobe acrobat document, for just a few examples from my own life. They add up fast. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026AI is not good for building software so bad example. Several of my close friends are computer engineers, they all hate it. It takes longer to make a worse product. Anyone who is relying on it to build software that "puts food on their table" isnt doing a good job and wont last long in the industry. 100
suchnothing @suchnothing.bsky.social · 07/09/2026No I dont, because theyre bad for the environment, rely on theft of material for training, and are frequently riddled with errors (or at the very least info from suspicious sources). Ive noticed this when doing google searches at work (I'm not allowed to install an alternate browser). 100
