meeting my autism a few years ago, after experiencing all kinds of pain growing up, has been a bit like meeting myself for the first time.
i have to somehow understand what i'm communicating, what i'm feeling when i panic or flee, or what i'm really trying to say when i stumble verbally.
![Meme edit of a text conversation where a photo of my fursona is posted, looking over her shoulder and wearing a diaper. Text reads "can you tell me WHY you wanna see my [diaper?]" (diaper clearly being the edited word here)
Followed by a response that is three audio messages. First is 32 minutes, second is 1 second, and third is an additional 33 minutes of audio.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:jg5pyx7wckizakutrbfvszoy/bafkreigijrntjue653r5asm3g44l2225vvmgkew3wsebdpzfegsa2h2xkq)
