Gonna start compiling, bit by bit, some photos I took which I think are pretty good

A small kid looking out of a doorway, lit by the sun (Marrakesh, Morocco)

A group of teenagers with bikes standing by the ocean, a soccer ball in midair (Santos, Brazil)

Carnaval, cheering crowd with waving flags, lights and smoke going off (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)

[B&W film] A ferry cruising along the Bosphorus (Istanbul, Turkey)

Fun fact: this is the original pic, made by a Russian expat who’s a massive Israel supporter, don’t wanna put them on blast though

I know adobe has already killed swfs, but flash/animate was still a legit animation tool. Even though I animate everything in ae, I still use flash for quick hand drawn stuff. Not even getting into 25+ years of legacy, which adobe always seems willing to throw under the bus in favor of ai and $

We're contacting you to let you know that Adobe will be discontinuing Adobe Animate on 1 March 2026. As an existing Animate user, you may continue to use Animate, but please note that technical support will no longer be available after 1 March 2027.
Please note that access to your Animate files and project data will end on 1 March 2027. To ensure a smooth transition, we encourage you to export your Animate FLA and XFL files to other formats such as SWF, SVG and MP4 files before this date.

Cuaron’s technical mastery at its finest. Blanchett’s great, but her younger self doesn’t looked like her at all. Feels like it should’ve been a 2-hour movie instead of a mini-series

I’ve been using this same set of pencils since 2020 specifically to color assets for paper alyx. Took it on all my travels, never replaced it for consistency. Look how gross it is

my fav anecdote from bts of quark soup is these two guys on the left are just random dudes who were just walking there and fit perfectly into the dystopian garbage landscape
