working on one of (what feels like) ~200 Codepens for an up coming article or two.
Screenshot of a webpage demo titled 'taming typography — rendering and fallback sanity' with a checked checkbox labeled 'Enable font smoothing tweaks'. Below is an expanded code panel showing the applied CSS, including -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased, text-rendering: optimizeLegibility, font-synthesis: none, text-size-adjust: none properties on the html selector, and font-size-adjust: from-font on the body selector. Beneath the code block is a text sample from Bram Stoker's Dracula, Chapter 1 (Jonathan Harker's Journal), showing the '3 May. Bishop Stratford' diary entry rendered in serif typography to demonstrate the font styling.
