I am the kind of person who marks Bandcamp Fridays on my calendar. I've bought over 30 albums so far this year, many country adjacent (Futurebirds, The Maes, Thomas Dollbaum, etc.). I have never heard of this musician, this song, or this writer.

I voted for Brent Hennrich in the WA-03 primary. He lost, so I'll vote for Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, the worst incumbent Dem in the House. I am not going to vote for her Republican opponent to punish MGP or her supporters. It's for the greater good. It's not a difficult concept or a hard choice.

One issue with the reporting here: People identifies Martin Eberhard as a Tesla co-founder. That is true, but the other co-founder was Marc Tarpenning, not Elon Musk. People should make that clear to avoid contributing to Musk mythology.

It really helps to understand that Musk was a con man who failed to finish any undergrad degree, even the business program he started in, and that he started telling people in Silicon Valley he'd come to start a PhD program at Stanford because that got him into the room for interviews.
