I can't get over how well the Journavx is working on my surgery pain. I'm not drowsy and nauseous like I would be on opiates, and I definitely don't feel like I just had major surgery 2 days ago.

For the first time in 7 years out here, the store had this dip. It's fitting that I found it today, of all days. Dad has been gone 3 years today, but I know finding our favorite football snack is his way of letting me know he's still here to take care of me through surgery. I love you, Dad.

Finally went to a dentist for the first time since I had my wisdom teeth emergency extracted in 2018. Even with all my dental anxiety, fear, and trauma around my teeth, the appointment was actually positive and I have a plan in place to fix my broken teeth.

Doctor wrote me a script for the new non-opiate pain med for my recovery from surgery. This is absurd. But insurance will cover the addictive stuff and give it out like candy. Because why would our healthcare system actually try to help patients?
