Every con there’s one piece that just clicks. This year it was this Tank Girl commission. #Hewlett is a big influence on my style... so it's not hard to find his characters when I sketch. #TankGirl #TraditionalArt #Commissions #ArtistLife

Hand-drawn illustration of a punk-styled woman inspired by Tank Girl, shown from the chest up against a bright yellow background with orange halftone dots. She has a shaved head with jagged green hair along one side, multiple ear piercings, and a small bandage on her forehead. Her expression is fierce and slightly unhinged, with one eye narrowed and heavy lashes. She bites down on a cigarette, with a red pentagram earring visible near her ear. She holds a large, exaggerated, sci-fi-style firearm slung over her shoulder with no clear real-world analog. She wears only dog tags and small pieces of black tape as pasties, with antifa-styled tattoos visible on her ribs and shoulder. The drawing uses loose, energetic ink lines with Copic marker fills in green, yellow, gray, and red, emphasizing a chaotic, punk aesthetic.

Hive Scum — Blades Close work. Personal work. Another from the line—ragged, dangerous, and already too close. #Miniatures #Tabletop #IndieGames #Sculpting

Blister-packaged miniature labeled “HIVE SCUM – BLADES” on a gritty red-and-black sci-fi card with illustrated figures along the sides. The bold red “HIVE SCUM” title dominates the top.

Inside the clear plastic, an unpainted gray resin figure stands holding two long, curved blades, posed mid-stride with arms spread wide. In front of the package, a painted version of the miniature stands on a square base with sandy terrain. The figure is advancing forward with a relaxed but threatening posture, one blade lowered at the side, wearing layered scavenged gear and armor for a worn, post-apocalyptic look.

Hive Scum — Lantern Cloak, bone, and a little light in the dark. Another addition to the line—grimy, ragged, and full of bad decisions. #Miniatures #Tabletop #IndieGames #Sculpting

Blister-packaged miniature labeled “HIVE SCUM – LANTERN” on a gritty red-and-black sci-fi card featuring illustrated figures. The bold red “HIVE SCUM” title dominates the top.

Inside the clear plastic, an unpainted gray resin figure is visible through a crinkled bag, posed holding a lantern raised overhead. In front of the package, a painted version of the miniature stands on a square base with sandy terrain. The figure is hunched and cloaked in tattered robes, arm lifted high with the lantern, creating a dramatic, almost ritualistic silhouette with a worn, post-apocalyptic aesthetic.

I only packed 15 of each of the five new models. But if they sell out at #adepticon they'll be available on Esty after the con.

Here’s alt text for this one:

Blister-packaged miniature labeled “HIVE SCUM – PISTOL” on a gritty red-and-black sci-fi card. The packaging features illustrated figures in a dystopian setting, with bold red lettering at the top.

Inside the clear plastic, an unpainted gray resin figure stands holding a pistol, partially obscured by the bag. In front of the package, a painted version of the same miniature stands on a square base with sandy texture. The figure is posed mid-stride, arm extended with the pistol, wearing layered scavenged clothing and gear, giving a rugged, post-apocalyptic look.

Dark Angels Tacticals III (WIP) Starting to lock in forms—pushing depth, architecture, and those looming buttress carvings. Still rough, but the composition’s finally clicking. #Warhammer #DarkAngels #Adepticon #WIP #Miniatures

Wide black-and-white work-in-progress drawing of Dark Angels Space Marines advancing over wrecked stone steps in a gothic exterior setting. In the foreground, Captain Lethaniel—a heavily armored Space Marine in a hooded robe—moves down the broken stairs, holding a large bolter across his body. To the left, a Mark VI “Corvus” (beakie) armored Marine aims his bolter downrange; the weapon is fitted with a bayonet. A third Marine advances behind them.

Behind Lethaniel, a corridor entrance recedes into shadow, with a hovering servo-skull nearby. The surrounding architecture features tall arches and a long row of buttresses carved with massive helmeted faces, looming over the scene like stone guardians.

The piece is partially inked, with some areas rendered in solid blacks while others remain loose and sketchy, with visible construction lines showing the evolving composition and depth.

Dark Angels Tacticals III (WIP) This one’s for Adepticon—largest piece I’ve done, headed for the charity raffle. #Warhammer #DarkAngels #Adepticon #WIP #TTRPG

Wide, work-in-progress sketch of Dark Angels Space Marines moving through a vast, cathedral-like interior. The piece is drawn in rough black lines with blue construction guides and perspective grids still visible.

In the foreground, a heavily armored Space Marine with a large shoulder plate and oversized rifle descends a set of steps toward the viewer. To the left, another Marine advances cautiously, aiming his weapon down a long corridor. A third Marine follows behind, partially obscured.

The background is dominated by towering gothic architecture—arched colonnades and a long row of buttresses. Carved into those distant buttresses are massive, stylized helmeted faces, looming over the scene like stone guardians.

The image remains unfinished, with loose sketch lines, overlapping forms, and visible planning marks emphasizing depth, scale, and motion.

Debuting at Adepticon: five new system-agnostic minis with post-apocalyptic sprawl vibes. Four more units not pictured: blades, lantern, hammer, pistol. #AdeptiCon #Miniatures #IndieMiniatures #TabletopGames #TTRPG

A blister-packed miniature labeled “HIVE SCUM – HAMMER” fills the frame, styled like a gritty sci-fi toy card in black and red. The card art shows armed, ragged figures in a dystopian setting. Inside the clear plastic, a gray resin figure of a hooded fighter raises a hammer overhead mid-swing.

In front of the package, a painted version of the same miniature stands on a square base with sandy texture. The figure wears layered, scavenged armor and a hood, posed aggressively with one arm lifted to strike. The paint scheme is muted and dusty, emphasizing a worn, post-apocalyptic look.

Photo of a painted 28mm “Hive Scum” ganger miniature standing on a square base covered in sandy texture. The figure wears bulky scavenged gear and a helmet with goggles, and is holding a long staff raised upright in one hand. The miniature is positioned in the foreground on a light-colored surface. Behind it stands the blister-style product packaging. The card backing is mostly black with large bold red text at the top reading “HIVE SCUM.” The background art on the card shows several illustrated hive-city style gangers in red and black tones. A clear plastic blister on the packaging holds the unpainted version of the same miniature and a small separate arm piece. The painted miniature in front mirrors the pose of the unpainted model visible inside the package.

Last of the five — production Tommy varied a lot from the concept, but this one still came through with strong presence. Another from the canceled Anvil 8 line I acquired, getting slapchop high-contrast prep before hitting my Etsy shop. #ttrpg #minipainting #etsyshop

Gray unpainted resin miniature of a hooded figure in ragged robes, crouched dynamically while raising a staff with mechanical details. Stands on a square base textured with grit.

Ink and wash illustration of a towering post-apocalyptic warrior. Bald, with makeshift armor covered in spikes, bones, and scavenged parts. Holds a staff topped with a “One Way” street sign; heavy ink splatter emphasizes menace.

Meet the team I built for @vaesen-rpg.bsky.social—equal parts séance, sermon, and street fight. Thora Dremer (Occultist) Father Franklin Grey (Priest) Dagher Falk (Officer, Sightless—but not clueless) #Vaesen #TTRPG #FolkHorror #CharacterArt #MysteryCrew

A Victorian bruiser with mutton chops like blades. Dagher is all fists and grit. He doesn’t see the Vaesen—but he believes.

An older priest with white, wild hair and haunted eyes. His collar is crisp, but his soul is frayed. He recites prayers to gauge how close the veil is—if the words turn sour, something is listening. He’s a man of faith, not certainty.

A stern woman with a square jaw and small round glasses peers coldly through the gloom. Dressed in rationalist gray with a high collar and choker. Occultist. Scholar.
