Obviously I'm not Brazilian and my opinion should be a grain of salt But as someone raised by liberal Catholics but more or less atheist myself Catholicism has an endless laundry list of problems, but modern Protestantism in the Americas feels inextricably linked to right-wing politics.

I really want to get a full 88-key piano for the house. I just have a 70-something keyboard right now Probably still an electronic one. I had a Yamaha clavinova growing up, still plays just as well now as it did 20+ years ago. Much as a real piano would be nice, I don't wanna deal with tuning.

Really curious as to what Remedy is gonna do with their (hopefully still happening) Max Payne remake. James McCaffrey is gone, but with Remedy's advancements in writing and use of live-action footage, they can't use archive recordings, so they HAVE to recast.

I think Remedy's insistence on using live-action footage and scanned-in actor models is actually a big help in this regard, especially since they don't go the Kojima route of casting famous faces. Dylan doesn't look or sound like a superhero game protag, he's just...a sad guy.

Watching 2021's RESIDENT EVIL: WELCOME TO RACCOON CITY. I'm about halfway through. For me, as a semi-casual fan who got in through the RE2 remake, this film's a weird case where I'd let some decisions slide if they hadn't made others, and vice versa, but not all at once.

At points during 2002, I got the Transformers: Armada guidebook and the Armada Starscream toy. Got way into it, started catching the Armada cartoon when I could, sat on Santa's lap and told him exactly what store he could find Armada Unicron at if his elves couldn't make one.

Still great. I will say, I've always heard the complaint that the animation is "sub-par", and I never agreed with it...until maybe now, a little bit. On the big screen, you can see the flaw more even than in HD on a nice TV.
