Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 09/09/2025One from last night above Buttermere, some crazy conditions to shoot in 0634
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 30/08/2025For those interested my Autumn 2026 Lake District workshops are now up on the website, full details at the link: www.lensdistrict.com/lake-distric... 0261

Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 04/08/2025Unfortunately not Steve when I shot this at the end of Autumn I didn’t video this shoot 000
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 04/08/2025Probably the most ambitious pano I've shot, given each vertical frame is at 170mm (tiny field of view) which required about 40 individual frames to get the correct perspective. For context the older wide angle frame shows how far away I am from this view 9797
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 01/08/2025Haha indeed! Yeah it’s very much a marmite thing it appears in terms of selling this stuff 010
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 01/08/2025Black and white for some reason still seems to be perceived as a bit niche (in my experience running this gallery anyway) hence I don't print much of it. The horizon wasn't blurred in Photoshop, I just waited a long, long time for some sea fret and a high tide :-) #blackandwhite #longexposure 1221
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 31/07/2025One of my favourite images that I've taken in recent years, during a group workshop that encapsulated the Lakes very well that week: 4 days of utter drudgery in the rain with an hour of biblical light 😆 #landscapephotograpy #lakedstrict 91044
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 29/07/2025A wild afternoon years ago at Wasdale when the lake turned into a bit of a seascape, could barely stand up #landscapephotography 0923
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 28/07/2025A small selection of vertical frames from this year's trip to Lofoten 1492
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 23/07/2025Cheers, actually dodged it here as it was all passing infront of us 110
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 23/07/2025I’ve been off a lot of socials for a wee while (too much golf 😂) with the odd post here and there, here’s one from Harris looking back to Skye on a stormy morning 5715
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 07/02/2025Shooting panos for a gallery with a commercial mindset can feel a bit soulless, in the moment you want to see the back of cam result however with these you don’t get that joy. V. pleased to see the end result come out so well from a special moment. This is about 1.2m wide #landscapephotography 7571
Stuart McGlennon @stuartmcglennon.bsky.social · 05/02/2025It depends on the focal length for the scene. To span the whole rainbow given the focal length it’s done at around 21/22 to allow for slight reframing and enough headroom at top and bottom. If anything what I’d shot was a bit tight on the margin of error rather than excessive. 000
