The return of the Union Learning Fund is huge, previously for every £1 spent it gave a return of £11, absolute madness from the Tory’s to cut it. Giving workers access to training benefits everyone, for me there’s no downside. Having spent 15 years as a learning rep this gives me hope for the future

The transfer fee side of it places huge pressure on a young lad, through no fault of their own. He does seem to have made a couple of friends within the squad now and that will help him going forward as well. Signing George on a permanent deal has helped him massively, good friends.
