#ourworldiswonderful; I leave you tonight with a shot from the Forest of Dean. This stand of beech trees often catches the afternoon and evening sun and the scattered dead leaves from the previous season make a warm contrast on the sloping earth.

Two large tree trunks frame the picture, left and right. Between them, the ground slopes up and is covered by more mature beech trees with scattered brown leaves from last autumn. The leaves on the trees are still green at this time however.
