I just sort of stumbled into watching Band of Brothers on Amazon, stupid really, I have the box set. Yeah, I have had this argument, the records of Israeli casualties during the Nakba are predominantly in the territories allocated to the Palestinians. The Arab armies were in defense of Pal territory, there was no existential threat to Israel. The bastards just wanted to grab it all, just like now.
