This video on the problems with Traffic Demand Modeling, and the risk of using bad modeling wrt 794, is a must watch. The remove option is best. Reconnect downtown to the Third Ward, improve AQI, improve the safety of people in and outside cars, decrease maintenance costs, and increase the tax base.

"Leave it as is!" We hear this enough. The I-794 elevated bridges covering Van Buren, Jackson, Milwaukee, and Jefferson Streets don't look all that run down from a distance, but up close, the need for work becomes evident.
