Today was a loooooong day Cleaned front and back yard very deeply Cleaned entire house, again super deeply Mom came over and helped me decorate some of my Fall and Halloween decorations (and by mine I mean she went on a shopping spree on QVC)… At least I don’t have to do anything for months! 😂

I don’t have a before but basically the boards on there were rotting and the flippers had not painted it properly by painting the metal, wood, and bolts all in one go with acrylic latex paint that literally pealed off Had to scrape it down to raw metal before painting

cause of mistakes my parents and I made, (a lot on their part) I need to repaint most of the wood and entire metal frame that is scratched ontop of drilling 2 bolts in still. Needs to wait for another weekend though because I literally have 8 hours of work today and it’s 6 -_-

I’ve spent 2+ weekends prepping and trying to install a gate replacement. Family advice, well intentioned has made this project hell and absorb all my weekend time when I actually need to catch up on other stuff and work Bottom metal is made of unobtanium or something that busted our drill bits -_-

Was able to get planks sorted n’ primed today for repairing my side gate;but sadly a thunderstorm threatened to get crap all over my fresh paint so had to bring those inside and will paint tomorrow; as you can see how it went from pretty but muggy to “oh that’s why it’s humid” oh well
