On occasion, the thought crosses my mind of how different things would be if I had... a companion of sorts. I don't let the thought linger overlong. Tracing over the threads of time taught me it's best not to linger on an impossibility. They'd be the first to go from my fractured mind, anyhow.

That's right. I'm that they crafted, the very same that'll be turned against them in the end. It's plain to see the reason why each of them were chosen for this purpose, yet none of them ever seem to piece it together.
