The beard is equally pronounced, but with a deeper look, I’d say not.

I’ve lived in Switzerland for over twenty years and have yet to visit this wonder.

At some point I may go that route as well. It’s all cycling.

Riding with less gear is for sure sportier. Tandems can also be purpose built for heavy touring with stronger frames and heavy duty wheels though.

That looks about right. Traveling as a couple is far more efficient: one tent, one cooking setup.,,,

In his lifetime, Michel "Monsieur Mangetout" Lotito is said to have cut into pieces and consumed 18 bicycles, 15 shopping carts, televisions, chandeliers, two beds, a computer, and a Cessna plane. Happy #BicycleBirthday, M. Mangetout! June 15 (1950-2007)

Legendary cyclist Beryl Burton training on the Yorkshire Moors, June 1961. Amongst a host of accolades, she rode 277.25 miles (446 km) in 12 hours in 1967, creating a record that wasn't topped by a woman for 50 years - nor by a man for two years. Happy #BicycleBirthday, Beryl! May 12 (1937-1996)

My wife suggested that I should consider selling it. I think not. I’ve often used it for hauling garden cuttings to the village compost heap, for shopping etc. The past few days, I’ve been hauling pails of gravel. I have considered removing the Rhino box, it weighs 18kg.

Hello Phishfoam I’m, currently, riding comfortably on a German made Ergon saddle. Seats have come a long way in the last decade: gender specific models, thinner higher density foam, improved form. Signs of cheapness: wide thick padding mounted on a flexible plastic core.

It’s crazy how comfortable a proper skinny seat with thin high density padding can be.
