I think there's also a sharp division among millennials about this, probably ethnicity is part of it, and certainly wealth and class. Like did you follow how your boomer parents did things and that you had to be a certain way to be considered an adult? Or

I've been getting better at listening to audiobooks and while they are still not my preferred format for media, some books are better that way, and I'm trying to lean into that I tried and DNFd Andy Weir books, but the audiobooks have been very good so far.

Listen, these things can’t go “rogue”. It’s just a basic LLM stuck in a while loop. But this kind of attack is possible by doing something as simple as that, and that means that more people can set up programs to do terrible things like this moving forward on a whim.

EXCUSE ME DO YOU WANT TO SEE MY EXTREMELY COOL NEWLY FINISHED TATTOO

My inner arm mostly, there is an older beetle tattoo at the bottom and a bunch of vines and crunchy leaves wrapping around the arm, with an orb spider and some webs. The orb spider is a teal color

The vines and leaves wrap around the back of the arm and there are more bugs here, but they are all the same teal color

Majora's mask (The Leyend of Zelda) One random day my partner joked about me crocheting them a Majora's Mask. I took it personally and 30 seconds later I found this free pattern on deviantart and got to it. This took longer than anticipated, also bigger than I expected, but totally worth it 😏🧶

Crocheted "Majora's Mask" from the game "The Leyend of Zelda". In purple, red, white, yellow, green, black and blue. All details handsewn on.

Oh this. This is it. I think problems with AI are fundamentally about labor, theft, and the erasure of human dignity in domains where it is used, especially because of how it amplifies human bias. And that is just so different to rooting the problems in fear and awe of your horrible machine god.

unions are for all workers. don't let the anti-union propaganda convince you otherwise. union workers get better pay, better working conditions, and better rights. important also to emphasize that they are using mentor in the article as a term of art to obfuscate the fact that your PI is your boss.
