some health updates from best to worst 1. surgery recovery going great :-) incisions look good, hardly any pain 2. swelling from superficial blood clot went down! but now i can feel the vein which hurts AND it’s hard as a rock which is squicking me out. feels like a cord 3. i Actually got sick

okay bad news we are not out of the woods yet LOL i’m at the er bcs the side of the hand they stuck my iv in yesterday is red and swelling up my arm 👍 so far they’ve tried to stick me three times in my other arm for an iv and no luck. normally i get stuck in my left arm but… well. it’s swollen

yesterday in recovery i was dying from the anesthesia nausea, nonstop throwing up, drifting in and out of consciousness. nurse comes in and is like let’s get you some anti nausea meds. hooks me up and walks out. i’m still throwing up. 30 mins later comes back in and is like “all right let’s see-“

had my surgery date planned out some months ago, originally they wanted to do it this week but i was thinking about my birthday next week PLUS con crunching for afc... so i opted to do it the week after afc. but now i'm learning i can't drink 2 weeks before surgery so i'm punished either way
