DC just dropped a reading guide for Batman...'s next 10 weeks. That's right, to understand the next steps for Batman, you're gonna have to keep up with up to 4 different depictions of Gotham per week for the next 10 weeks. There's 3 Batman comic runs simultaneously going not listed here btw.

The reading guide for a Batman storyline that will span the pages of:

- Detective Comics (which is also Batman)

- Harley Quinn

- Gotham General
- Streets of Gotham
- Gotham Central

A lot of what people call "realism" is just "tangibility." It's not that what you're describing obeys the laws of reality. You're just convinced you know what it feels like. The MCU is more realistic in style than Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, but which of these images feel more tangible? Check Alt Text

Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man at the end of his battle with the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002). His clothes are battle damaged, showcasing the wounded skin underneath. His mask is torn in half, his skin is covered in dirt, blood, sweat and tears. His hair is SOAKED in sweat and the hard lighting draws attention to all of these different textures sitting atop his skin.

Hey I can post pictures again! Anyway, I cranked these out in about 30-40 minutes before rushing to a tabletop session super saturated vs black and white for each Been 2 years since I've taken a self-portrait, so it was nice to try it out again, even in a super cramped space on a short timer

These are still some of my favorite photos i took, even though they're pretty old. The left one more than the right for me. I used to take photos so much more consistently back then, but I long to photograph people instead of mostly empty environments and all the people I know are so far away...
