iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Letterboxd might get sold, but your film history shouldn't depend on who owns the app. I built Voola, where you can import your entire Letterboxd library, reviews and all, plus TV show tracking and Shazam-style identification from a single clip. Available now: voola.io

Voola library screen on an iPhone with an Import menu open, listing Letterboxd, Trakt, and TV Time as one-tap import sources. Behind the menu, collections show 823 saved and 564 watched titles in all, including 695 saved and 554 watched films, with posters like Toy Story 5 and Creed visible.

Yeah you can import from Trakt and TV Time (which is shutting down soon). You can also just start fresh if you'd like. It's a very robust media assistant app.

Obviously I'm biased but I think it's REALLY good. Always working hard on making it better so lemme know what you think!

TV Time shuts down in 5 days, here’s the best alternative I made!

22 tracks of Future no features in 2026 is too much. Album should have been condensed if he wanted to stick to not having features. Otherwise he could have def stuck some verses from others there. The highs are HIGH asf but some of the songs are clear filler.

If I didn't have PS Plus I wouldn't touch BO1 or 2 ngl. Pricing is ridiculous but at $60 for both games + DLC it's not bad.

Future tonight. I’m ready for some “yearning while being self-destructive” music.

TV Time shuts down on July 15. The good news: I made an alternative and it's called Voola. Grab your data at gdpr.tvtime.com and drop it into Voola. Voola can also identify movies and shows from just a video clip or link. Available now: voola.io

Screenshot of the Voola app on iPhone, showing the My Library screen with an open Import menu. The menu lists three import sources: Letterboxd, Trakt, and TV Time. Behind it, the library displays collections of poster thumbnails — 820 saved titles, 564 watched titles, 692 saved films, and 554 watched films.

Screenshot of the Voola app on iPhone, showing an "Import from TV Time" dialog. It gives three steps: open gdpr.tvtime.com in a browser and sign in with your TV Time account, request a copy of your data and download the export, then select the downloaded ZIP or CSV. A note below reads that TV Time shuts down July 15, 2026, so export your data before then. A yellow "Select File" button sits at the bottom, with Cancel underneath.

Folks were really on the World Wide Web saying confidently with their chest that a whole Christopher Nolan passion project filmed entirely in IMAX 70mm was going to be trash. These culture warriors haven't got the memo yet that their time was up as soon as Trump won again.

It’s really a good time to be me fr.

It’s unrealistic but phones in the West should have the loud shutter sound Japan has. Should be off only when in an emergency and required to report said emergency in the next 7 days, with the image not being able to be used for anything but.

I’m gonna be bold and say the Ivory Coast is making the World Cup Final. And when they do I will be there.

Voola 5 is simultaneously the most beautiful UX I have ever designed and the best designed app I have on my phone. Still refuse to add a tab bar for good reason.

020

The new "My Taste" feature on Voola 5 is by far my favorite feature. As someone who loves watching movies and shows and wants a better understanding of my habits, being able to see it so clean is awesome.

Voola 5 is rolling out on iOS today. It is the culmination of everything I wanted Voola to be this year: a personal media assistant that maps your taste, recommends what's next with pinpoint accuracy, and offers a clean experience to all. Biggest update yet. Read more👇🏾

Voola 5 — A New Era of Being a Personal Media Assistant

Now the ULTIMATE companion for discovering and finding new media.

Maybe it’s just my Skyline but y’all be getting possessed after 10pm lmao

Getting better at this public speaking + pitch thing. Still learning but came a LONG WAY from where I used to be.

A man with a beard in a black polo shirt speaks into a handheld microphone, gesturing with one hand as he presents. Behind him is a backdrop of oversized decorative fabric flowers in cream, white, and pink, lit warmly against a dark room, with a piano partly visible to his left and neon signage glowing above.

Maybe I'm AI'd out but not I'm super impressed by what I saw at the WWDC Keynote.

Tech Week in NYC was one of the best weeks of my life. Attended events relevant to what I’m building with Voola, connected with friends, and met so many founders, devs, investors, and people across tech. Left inspired, grateful, and motivated. Back to building.

Indoor Tech Week 2026 event space with a tall vertical banner reading “TECH WEEK 2026” alongside sponsor logos including a16z, Fenwick, HSBC, and IBM. Rows of empty black folding chairs sit to the left while attendees mingle, a videographer films near large windows with city views, and globe pendant lights and hanging greenery line the ceiling.

Rooftop networking event in a city, framed by a brick wall and an ornate stone building facade under a clear blue sky. A crowd of attendees, mostly seen from behind, stands on a wooden deck near a green umbrella and hay bales.

A man in a black polo shirt speaks into a podcast microphone, gesturing with both hands, in front of a glowing purple backdrop with curved white text reading “WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING?”

Four men sit together on lounge seating at The Wallace Lounge, smiling at the camera. Round black cocktail tables in front hold drinking glasses, candles, a small lamp, and drink menus, with other patrons and softly lit green curtains in the background.

Aside from the Knicks shenanigans, yesterday was a classy affair.

A man in a black blazer over a dark shirt takes a mirror selfie, holding his phone with one hand and pointing toward it with the other. He has a beard and a serious expression, standing in front of a white paneled door and curtain.

A live jazz duo performs in a dimly lit, upscale lounge. A man in a suit, vest, and gray pork pie hat sings into a microphone while playing an upright bass; a pianist plays a grand piano to the right. A woman in a black dress with lace sleeves stands in the foreground, and a green couch with a basketball-shaped pillow sits nearby.

Injury recovery got me looking less like a bodybuilder and more like a CK model smh. Can't wait to get back in the gym.

If I’m on Sidetalk from yesterday I apologize in advance for nothing lol.

Crowd gathered at night on a NYC street, with a person holding up a large black “Sidetalk” sign featuring the white walking-man pedestrian icon. People film on phones around a tall building lit against the dark sky.

Nearly 30 years after his death and he’s still in pop culture discourse. Most influential rapper ever.

Zack Fox’s tweet will always be legendary.

When I was getting Popeyes, some dude in Bronx stopped me and dapped me up the night of the Knicks win telling me to "never ever let the money change me" lol. Buddy I'm not rich😭

Yeah Apple Intelligence was supposed to make them shine, but a lot of the stuff either didn’t work, work well, or was straight up not released. But I liked their approach as it was more private than what Google and OpenAI do lol

000

As a dev, I need y'all to suck it up and update to iOS 26 not just bc backward compatibility stuff sucks, but also bc you're less likely to get hacked. Thanks lol.

WWDC is next week too man lmao, hopefully Apple introduces better AI related system-level APIs, especially if what they are saying about the new Siri is true.
