Probably so that if you want to cancel and they won’t let you (in some states in the US) unless you come in or write/mail a letter, you can’t just cancel your debit card to end membership. Or if you DO cancel they can still keep “accidentally” charging you and again you can’t just cancel the card

Yeah ok, I DO suck at taking pictures and filming my artwork. I’m working on it. Kinda. My leathery winged tooth fairy here is collecting teeth from the masses so they can be reborn into a tooth again someday. Like all teeth dream of, naturally. #toothfairy #originalclaysculpture #littleguy

I’m back Strange-rs! I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep posting my original art on social media for a lot of different reasons. Fact is though, a lot of places treat socials as our portfolio, so here I am! Here’s an acrylic piece. “Lagoon Therapy.” Gators are great listeners, did you know? #art

Creature from the Black Lagoon is lounging on a brown chaise under a street lamp at the edge of a swamp. A very attentive gator in glasses is listening from the foot of the chaise. The gator means serious business and is taking notes

Got some new art work done gang! FYI: I’m not sure I’ll be making any prints of any new art going forward. Likely, if anything, I’ll just be doing limited edition prints of select works. So if you like what you see let me know! Alright peace out Strange-rs! #originalart

Ooh I’ll definitely have to check out some of these. One of the books I’m listening to right now is How We End by L.M. Juniper (it’s on Hoopla, just fyi) it’s a zombie apocalypse type deal set in London. Got some lgbtqia+ rep in both the book and with the author themselves. I like it so far.

grub effigies to be hung from a spot of reverence (sold)! #ceramics

Multiple photos of little grub charms, decorated with a gold chain, bell, and red tassel. They have a pale, white belly, and head, and black bodies with brown accents, completed with wire legs. Tiny little eyes look out towards the world.

Look at those plump lil cuties! Never thought I’d fall for a grub considering the havoc they wreck in the garden, but these lil guys are the bees knees

And lastly, that maybe this is just how it has to be right now. You’ve given me the confirmation I needed to try some experimentation with my artwork to try to shake things up and start making things again, and it’s ok if it’s just a squiggly stick figure or a paragraph. So thank you for that too.

Secondly, I find myself trying to immerse in reading and playing video games too. It’s hard to concentrate on, but I think we have to have ways to release the pressure valve and this is something towards that. I so appreciate your input. It tells me that all of us are struggling like this

First of all, I think that’s both lovely and cute that you change up the lyrics to your favorite songs to fit the situation you’re in. I think knowing that is a sign that you need to let out some creative energy must feel reassuring in a way

The 'Animal Farm' animation made a big impression on me as a kid. The end scene, in particular, was burned into my brain. However, TIL that ending was actually a film edit, courtesy of the CIA. Regardless (or perhaps, because of that), it remains at very powerful & striking scene.

I’m just now learning that Meshtastic exists. There’re so many things in the world that I want to learn more about when I learn that they’re there. I wonder if I’ll go on another deep dive and overwhelm myself and learn exactly none of it #themoreyouknowthelessyouretain

I’m reading a book right now with this very old alien dog like creature in it. He follows everyone around and then just flops himself down on the nearest most comfortable surface he can find. He gently asks for scritches. Well, he just passed on page and I am beside myself. I am not ok 😭

I had really persistent dreams of making shrinky dinks over the weekend.
