I visited south Lebanon today for the first time in a few months. Our trip took us to four villages along the so-called 'yellow-line' where we heard regular explosions. Locals said these were Israeli military demolitions of homes & other buildings on the other side of the yellow-line.

Today marks 500 days of Dr Hussam Abu Safiya’s cruel arbitrary detention by Israeli authorities. He was arrested after approaching an Israeli tank that was storming Kamal Adwan Hospital - which at the time was the last functioning hospital in North Gaza & the hospital Dr Safiya is the director of.
