I'm happy I could help. 😊 *hugs*

I know I posted fic not too long ago, but I have another one I finally finished! (idk what's going on with me either, this is very weird.) 'til the dark meets the light - jinmin - 1500 words - Kpop Demon Hunters fusion - demon!Jin and demon hunter!Jimin archiveofourown.org/works/81811936

She was just going to bed and they were somewhere in the blankets. So it took a while but it worked! lol

Complaining to the internet always works, right? My grandmother can't find her car keys. And I'm not allowed to leave later unless we do. 😭😂

celli and I also did a thing over the summer!

I've been away for Reasons (aka mental health bs) and idk if I'm really "back" on the internet yet, BUT! Celli gave me a birthday present and it's amazing. It's one of my favorite things I've written and I'm just all 🥰😍 that she did this for me!

I have to sell my Hobi tickets for Reasons. 😭 I'm only mildly devastated, I swear. I'd like to make some of my money back, so I'm hoping for $400 each but am willing to negotiate. DM me here or on discord and I'll send proof or whatever you need. 2 tickets for March 13 in NY section 117, row 1

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

Did some organizing yesterday to keep me off screens. Is anyone interested in free yarn? I'd prefer to just send all of it to someone in one fell swoop. If shipping is a lot, I may ask you to split it, but most likely, this would be a box of free stuff for you. See alt text for more descriptions.

Twelve full skeins of yarn. If it looks like I did something with it, it means I started a thing and then frogged it, but didn't cut any off. No labels for the brown and the black & greenish next to it. (The brown was a gift so I don't have further info but I can tell you where I got the other one so you can check the site.)

Nine partial skeins of yarn. I have no idea how much of each is there. Labels in included in these. One of the blues might be new actually. The small white/blue/purple near the top left too. And the Malabrigo Arroyo (maroon/yellow) in the bottom right is probably close to a full one.

Eight partial skeins of yarn and one bag of odds and ends. I have no idea how much of each is there. These don't have labels but the bright blue in the middle is Malabrigo Arroyo.

Taking recs for compact hybrids and pro tips on surviving car shopping (aka probably the only shopping I *don't* like) with a concussion... Seriously, if anyone has done any car research recently and can give me notes, I'd appreciate it so I can limit some screen time.

Some dumbass kid with a learner's permit & no licensed driver in the car rear ended me Mon night & I have a mild concussion & I am sad & bored & just want to read fic but my head hurts & I'm dizzy just posting this. ☹️ Complaining to the internet usually works, right? My headache will go away now?

Yes, but then that doesn't solve the bills problem... SIGH.

110

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Do you have a kiln? Will you fly me and my super awesome teacher (aka the one who knows what she's doing) out there? If so, I'm in! Love you too. ❤️ Lucky to have you!

010

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

That is an *excellent* place to put said thoughts!

110

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

💜💜💜 Thank you! And I highly recommend! If you're doing lots of little pieces like the balloon, it can be really meditative. The one I'm still working on involves far fewer pieces (so far) but I'm painting too, which is really cool.

010

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Thank you!! It's really fun to do. Very meditative to put the little pieces where you want them. lolol

110

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

It is a GREAT plan. Other than the long distance part since neither of us wants to move rn.

110

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Thank you!! It's so fun and I love doing it. Highly recommend if you ever get a chance. *clings* ❤️❤️❤️

So that's that for now. If you want to, come say hi. I'm around and I don't actually *want* to be antisocial, but I can't quite seem to break out of it entirely. Brains, yo. So fucking weird. #StateOfStrange

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

To end on a slightly better note, here are some results of my fused glass journey. I have another one to pick up when I go work on my latest. Which will be the *coolest* thing I've ever done. Eventually. Taking a while though. I can't decide if I should share progress pics or wait. #StateOfStrange

Abstract fused glass project with lots of blues and purples. Hard to tell but it actually comes up on the sides so it's a dish.

An attempt at Keith Haring's "Best Buddies" in fused glass.

BTS' HYYH Young Forever hot air balloon in fused glass.

...2., I can't seem to always predict what will bother my brain that day until I see it. Sometimes it's political or societal, sometimes it's fandom-related, sometimes it's a bad take. So I just kind of avoid everything, for better or worse. I miss it and I don't. Brains are weird. #StateOfStrange

140

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

The mental health stuff still needs work. That's part of the reason I haven't been around a ton. I can't really handle it. The hard part is I can mute all kinds of things but 1., people don't always tag, and... #StateOfStrange

120

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

I also started some sort of art journey. I got some painting supplies. @aliascelli.bsky.social taught me embroidery. I started knitting again. I'm doing fused glass at a pottery studio, so chances are decent I'll try that at some point. I have no real idea what I'm doing but 🤷🏻‍♀️ #StateOfStrange

170

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

I need a career change but I have no idea what to do. I visited @aliascelli.bsky.social and it did make clear to me that my best option is convincing her to marry me so that I can be her stay at home wife and also still have health insurance. I'm working on that plan. #StateOfStrange

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Starting at the end of January, I decided to take some leave from work for mental health stuff. Nothing too terrible, but I was on a downward slope and am learning from the past. Or something. I go back in a couple weeks. In the meantime, I am job hunting, which is...not going great. #StateOfStrange

120

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

A bit of a life update I guess, because why not. It's definitely midlife crisis time up in here. I guess I'll tag this #StateOfStrange so you can mute if you want. This is also #MentalHealth stuff. (Unrelated: Did I read somewhere that screenreaders need caps in hashtags or did I make that up?)

@aliascelli.bsky.social is teaching me to embroider. me: oh wait, you said not to do this part, right? her: yes, but it's fine, it really doesn-- me: *already ripping out stitches* her: why do I even bother talking?

strangecobwebs @strangecobwebs.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

Oh no! If it helps, I haven't had that experience. I still have the first one I got. In 2006. Granted, *that* one is a bit worn out but still!

Oh, I got that email. Twice. The tab is open while I consider potentially unwise financial decisions rn... 🤔
