Took the gamble and reapplied for the DBD creator program. Fingers crossed this time...

StrakerPlays @strakerplays.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

We are now 10 follows away from 3k on Twitch! 12 hour stream incoming when we hit the goal, it's caught me off guard how quickly we got here from new years

StrakerPlays @strakerplays.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Dbd creator program re-applications are coming up again soon and a part of me is like yeah go for it, but another part of me is like if I get rejected again with my dyspraxia I know it'll just demoralise me to the point of wanting to stop fully and probably going full variety and I'm like ajhdfhhfjw

Had an amazing time taking part in this last night, well done to Shytehawk for organising and Jiggle for coming home with the trophy. Some of the most fun games of DBD I've had in a long time and an amazing amount raised for Gendered Intelligence

Not sure specifically what they've done to Nurse on DBD but she needs fixed - practically unplayable, wowzers

Just as note for everyone, I am scrapping Sunday streams and moving them to Monday evenings instead. I've been struggling a bit with streaming both weekend evenings as I have an extremely early start for work on Monday mornings. Will be live tomorrow 8pm!

StrakerPlays @strakerplays.bsky.social · 07/01/2026

Hate this burnout I've got for making short form content, just cannot get anything remotely watchable edited at all. Hoping that spark ignites things soon but I am *struggling*

StrakerPlays @strakerplays.bsky.social · 02/01/2026

Hope everyone had a great new year and thank you for all the birthday wishes. Really enjoyed myself and hoping everyone has a class start to 2026!

Pc issues now seem to be fixed - it was related to a PCIE-4 SSD but with my motherboard. Should be back live without issue today!

StrakerPlays @strakerplays.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

Socially feeling a bit of burnout again ATM, so apologies if I seem a little distant. Brains going bzzzrrrt as it's around a year since I went through all the work/personal stress and my health took a nosedive. In a much better position now in hindsight but the memories are *remembering*

Didn't get to post this at the time but we had an incredible time at Megan and Hobs wedding a few weeks back. It was so nice seeing so many old faces from my hometown and to meet so many new/familiar names from twitch as well from all over the world all to celebrate 2 lovely people, What a weekend ❤️

StrakerPlays @strakerplays.bsky.social · 25/09/2025

Back streaming 8pm tonight, hoping to have a good go at the Krasue adept and then look to open lobbies thereafter. Really excited, see you all there!

First graded card back, not quite the 10 I was hoping though, but the custom art they made as I was the first one to send a vivi was kinda cool!

Sorry for ending abruptly tonight pals, mega anxious spikes due to camera tech issues again and then I couldn't get myself to get through those FNAF DBD games. I'm just not a fan of the franchise at all and I don't think I can kinda smile through it, just not really enjoying it

Just an fyi for stream later today: I won't be buying the latest DBD chapter. Just wanted to give notice in case anyone was expecting me to play Springtrap. I'm happy for anyone who's excited, but yeah, not for me I'm afraid. Will hopefully see you all there regardless!

Sunbird is now listed on etsy. All profits minus fees will be used to buy e-sims via the connecting humanity/connecting gaza grassroots initiative. Thread with more detail on this from Beef on twitter: x.com/bethdoesbeau... Alternatively, you can skip the print and buy an e-sim yourself! #Palestine

I don't think this game will be everyone's cup of tea, but I am loving Elden Ring: Nightreign so far. Managed one run very deep in with 2 random players and it was a ton of fun. Very chaotic. I'm looking for more players to join over the next couple of weeks, let me know if you are interested!
