This advertisement appeared in National Geographic in 1962, eerily prefiguring the Bhopal disaster, which occurred 40 years ago today. Unfortunately, the industrial poisons that underwrite our much vaunted 'quality of life' continue to be everywhere naturalized. We all live in Bhopal.
