I tossed a Bozo in a dumpster back in July. It had sat out in a garage for decades and I didn’t think it could be salvaged from mildew and possibly contact with mice.

I have a friend with whom I’ve stopped sharing little tidbits of fun news because every time I do, it’s cast in a negative light. Example: “Hey, such and such movie you mentioned wanting to see is available to stream on blank movie service.” “Blank movie service can kiss my ass.” “Okay.”

I follow a bunch of indie artists on Instagram who render cool pop princess art (TayTay, Sabs, Liv, etc) and the excitement they all have for the recent Taylor Swift announcements is adorable. Instantly they are creating new illustrations based on the press photos and album art. It’s infectious.

It is nearly impossible to read an article on @bleedingcool.com due to the copious popup ads and shifting screen. I appreciate that websites need ad revenue, but I ultimately don’t need to read these articles if I have to jump through fucking hoops to do so.

In July, I came across three VHS tapes that had family events recorded on them from when I was 11-14 (I'm 49 now). I was shocked these even existed. I had never watched them. I was finally able to track down a VCR and muster up the emotional fortitude to check them out yesterday. It was surreal.

I lived in New York City for my last semester of college back in 1998. I hung out a lot at the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and I took a photo of the lower Manhattan skyline. Twenty years later, I took the photo back there and held it up in front of the forever-changed skyline.

When the NECA Sesame Street action figureline was originally announced, I told my wife I was only going to get the “major characters.” Then they showed Frazzle at an NYCC show and I had to make this meme.
The Doctor Bashir and Garak meme template showing a series of four photos alternating between the two characters. In each panel, the character has a caption noting their dialogue.

Dr. Bashir: I THOUGHT YOU WERE ONLY GOING TO GET THE MAJOR SESAME STREET CHARACTERS.

Garak: THAT’S RIGHT.

Dr. Bashir: INCLUDING FRAZZLE?

Garak: ESPECIALLY FRAZZLE.

Found three of these recently at my parents’ house. The glass shape is cool. Thought I might sell a couple on eBay but it’s looking like it would be more cost effective to just throw them away.

I am tired of the toxic positivity in fandom. I do not like Star Trek: Strange New Worlds anymore. This season has been awful. I don't want to hate it. I want to love it. Why do I still watch it? Because I want to support Star Trek as a whole. And I am not trying to force my opinion onto you.
