WIP. The huge chunky missile bays on the sides can detach to increase the ship's nimbleness and decrease its profiles, and generally are jettisoned when their silos run out. Next I gotta start on a bunch of little detailing tasks and shaders. But that's for tomorrow...

NTLF ships are very hard sci-fi with modules and boosters, while ERRF/Saturnian ones are mostly inspired by Homeworld. I'm figuring out Kartia's fleet now, and need to find a balance between that traditional feeling and the Golden Age-era gravitons.

When I was a kid, my mother would get me oatmeal cream pies when I was sick, as a treat. I asked my friend to get me some, so I could do that now as a late 20's-something. Have they gotten much smaller, or have I gotten much bigger? Both?

SST26 has been really productive for me in general though. I like the format of 'thing to do a day'. I should do that more often. Perhaps when I go about redoing my colony cylinder, I'll do it as like a 7-day challenge. Day 1 general layout/frame, day 2 habitation areas, day 3 utility areas, etc...

I watched the Backrooms movie! It was super good. I think it had some minor pacing issues, but overall I really enjoyed it. I think it's gonna be a great 'repeated viewing' movie too, lots of tiny details to look at.

So that lore blurb isn’t totally accurate, the Ascarians do know about armor, but they haven’t had to utilize real tanks in over 300yrs, having mostly faced off against the much weaker Daphur or colonial dissents. By the end of the war, Ascarian units were starting to field armor of their own.

The previously-seen Dagger frigate, rebuilt for front-line warfare. A weird casemate turret with twin-linked heavy cannons was added on top of the superstructure, more gun blisters can be seen on the wheel-like structure at the rear.

Same ship from the front, the barrels of its many weapons ominously glistening red. The small craft hangar at the bottom front has been replaced with an axial particle cannon of some sort.
