theres a difference between accepting and reiterating the reality of the situation and actively defending the company. please stop confusing the two

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

i got it digitally on switch 2 (and the switch 1 version of 1.5+2.5) and i also got it digitally and physically on ps5 i do this with every release dont judge me

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

The fact that you have to qualify every statement with stating that you agree with the current opinion on something (ie sony should keep making physical discs), in order to point out something worth considering for the discussion, is exhausting. you still get idiots calling you shill or bootlicker

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

imagine having money to go do things like this

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

preferably none because i don't want to spend more money in fortnite

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

200

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

010

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

barf. discount could've been worse, but also could've been so much better

0290

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

yes but its not an "upgrade to the switch 2 version" because this is not a "switch 2 edition". this is a "definitive edition", so they can call it a new release, and get away with only giving a discount of like 30-50%

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

dang i was pretty spot on with the zelda one. did not expect Aonuma to actually play an ocarina tho

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Nintendo Direct predictions: Zelda: Ocarina gameplay and release date, special edition console and pro controller, Mineru amiibo with maybe a new ocarina amiibo, movie teaser, new weird merch. General: Pokopia dlc, fire emblem trailer/news, xenobloade trailer, LOTS OF FARMING GAMES.

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

nah i wouldn't expect any winds and waves news until next year. still too far off from release. expect dlc 2 for pokopia

010

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

i mean, dynamaxing could make a cool comeback in champions. if they ever do a legends game set in galar, that could open up the possibility to bring it back in a huge way, just like with megas.

Portable consoles like the switch are a great idea in theory, but when you make the console hundreds of dollars, and make the games i play the most incompatible with cloud saves, and if the console is lost/stolen, that really discourages me from taking it literally anywhere but i can play in bed so

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

is this accounting for downloads on both mobile and switch?

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

excited for "dark depths with glowing rocks and coral with actually nothing else" like most pokemon stuff. like i love the game but pokemon's dlc is never anything more than what's on the surface

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

free update and part 1 of the expansion both come out on the 5th of august. eshop is placeholder date like always.

020

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

its easier to see what the system can do when you've actually played it, rather than just trusting opinions from those online who also haven't played one.

010

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Hell, maybe not even just the official console. Let me pop that thing into my PC and download the update onto the disc from an official source. So many efforts could've been put in place to preserve media that people would gladly pay for.

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Discs should've been sized up, to have extra room for potential updates, and should've been writable only by the official console to bring the game up to the most recent version. I dont care about the specifics of how they would do that, it could've been done.

100

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Like, say i have my PS4 copy of a telltale "Season Pass Disc", where only 1 episode was on disc at launch, but every time a new episode launched, it would write the data to your disc so you wouldn't have to rely on servers again if you wanted to play again in the future.

100

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

Physical media should've been different, like this whole time. Remember the berry glitch in Ruby/Sapphire, and you could take your game to an event or connect with a newer version of the game and it would retroactively update your copy? Thats how all physical media should work.

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

there is a trophy, the event details are in the link in the post

010

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

oh its just a panel for the anniversary, so im not expecting anything new

000

StormLeaper @stormleaper.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

oh awesome. ive come to expect nothing kh from d23, but hopefully we get a little bit of info

There is a specific genre of anime called "I'm enjoying this now, but if I'd seen it at 15, I would've made it my entire personality"
