For a while I've been using Hermes as an aid for the ways in which my adhd makes working as an SWE (esp working with agents) difficult. Now, I'm taking all of my learnings and have started building a tiny macOS native agent, Max, that lives in your menubar and turns my Hermes workflows into an app

i think this past 10 days of PTO actually saved me from burnout. I went camping for the first time in ~7 years, hiked 8 miles, spent time in the garden and road my bike a ton 🌞🚲🌲

Hacking on an agent orchestrator that is essentially a bunch of open source tools I like (Git, tmux, opencode and stereOS), duct taped together using Bun. The result provides an isolated workspace in a tmux session you can attach to do work, and a VM where the agent can access the workspace
