On Thursday at 11 o'clock at night, the present child was brought in by a woman who said she was sent by Margherita Mattioli, a midwife in Via dell'Ulivo, with the upper half of a brass crucifix threaded with a purple velvet ribbon, but it is believed to be all false because she had a sheet of paper which read: "Unbaptized creature whose father has been ill for a long time and recommends himself to the Hospital".
He was judged to have been born there on the 14th and was baptized sub conditione with the repeated name of Amaddio. Address in file 122 n. 359.
