Of all the DLC armor in BotW, the Royal Guard Set is the most baffling to me. The set only has 12 strength, like all DLC sets it can't be upgraded, it has a stamina use reduction buff, but the pieces can only be obtained in Hyrule Castle. The cap is literally in the room above where you fight Ganon.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves as an artist: the swatches on a character ref. A lot of folks like to be cute and make their swatches in funny shapes and even when they are clear, they are not labeled which is a pain in the ass when the colors are similar. Make your swatches simple and labeled.

Also because this is a Nintendo release of Imaginators, it's the only version of Imaginators other than the WiiU release where you can use the Bowser and Donkey King Skylander Amiibo hybrid figures made for Superchargers.

Now because the game was not designed to be played without toys, you can't buy Imaginators on the eShop. You can only play it if you have a physical copy of the game. But as long as you have at least one toy, you CAN play it. Turns out the game now goes for a LOT on the second hand market.

Its the only version that doesn't come with or require a portal of power because the game uses the console's built-in NFC reader to read the toys which it stores to the game's save data, meaning you can scan ALL your toys and play with them all on the go without having to physically bring them.

Skylanders Imaginators for Nintendo Switch is an interesting game. It was previously released October 16, 2016, but when the Nintendo Switch came out on March 3, 2017, Imaginators was one of its launch titles. This also makes it the last version released of the last mainline Skylanders title.

Some but not all games on the GCN NSO app feature a widescreen mode in the settings. And it will adjust what you see on the NSO app accordingly which is nice.

I think about the LEGO Friends series sometimes. When it first debuted, it was met with criticism from some adult LEGO fans for enforcing gender stereotypes and yet it turned out to be one of LEGO's biggest successes, far exceeding sales expectations and causing LEGO's net profits to rise by 35%.

I am kinda miffed Tauren don't get a new race/class combination in WoW Forever while almost all others do which sucks because they can only be four classes. I understand not giving them paladin since that steals the Undead's thunder (...bluff), but they could have at least given them priest or mage.

One positive change I like about WoW Forever is the addition of Stormwind Harbor, a location that originally wasn't added to WoW until Cataclysm. This is legitimately a good change as it means Nelf players won't have to do the "Wetlands corpse run" just to quest early on with other Alliance players.

And yes, Pandaren were planned as a playable race for TBC. According to former Blizzard artist Trent Kaniuga, the Chinese government told Blizzard that they couldn't use pandas in the game, but later got permission with the release of MoP. I'm glad because the TBC initial Pandaren model was hideous.

I mean sure, Draenei are beloved now but back when they were first revealed a lot of players thought playing as "space goats" with the name of those weirdos from Swamp of Sorrows was really weird and some lamented the loss of Pandaren as a planned playable race for TBC (for the time).

Unlike some reactionary Youtubers, I think Skyborne are a perfect addition to WoW Forever. Really think about it. People who played TFT REALLY wanted to see Blood Elves and some Alliance were annoyed they ended up being a Horde race. I think this is a compromise to give both factions a such a race.

Sometimes you see something that seems out of place and you have to question it. Like here. Why is there a lobster trap in a freshwater lake? (This is Lake Kittitata in Jade Forest.) You could argue it's a crawfish trap, but it doesn't look like any crawfish trap I've ever seen.

In Monster Hunter upon completing a quest there is a deduction from your total reward for each time you've been carted. I assume the reason for this is because the Hunter's Guild has the pay the Felynes who cart your ass to base each time a hunter faints.
