that ep was so clunky in its recontextualizing of the characters motives of both Hal And John. It made me be pissed at Hal understandably. but when It comes to John, I know that race is a big part of his identity in comics. I just wish there was a smarter way to convey it without being un-subtle

The journey to one's personal heart of darkness gotta be the most manical yet self obsessed thing a man can do. And it's usually pretty lonely to step there. Losing a piece of your brain in bits and pieces. Coming out on too isn't guaranteed and being good after it is certainly out of bounds.

Getting reference videos quickly can be a bit of a pain. Even the good apps like Stacher sometimes fall down. I made a tiny PyQt UI for yt-dlp, just takes one link per line and downloads it. Super useful, quick, simple. I shoulda done it years ago!
