Taking a name isn't remotely the same thing as "adopting yourself into a family". Two things. Odysseus took Sinon's name in The Odyssey. He didn't "adopt himself into his family". Only a YouTuber could invent such a nonsensical talking point.

I've just seen Digger again. One hell of a gut punch. I don't know why the box office is bad but it's weird that there are in jokes about it being destined to become a cult classic. It's incredibly challenging. I can only assume bad reviews are from people irked by the reality. It's a masterpiece.

When we first meet Ben, Rey & Finn, they're wearing masks. One through choice because he thinks it's cool. One through servitude & one as a disguise. It tells children right from the top that in life many people wear masks, usually not literal. It tells them to never judge a book by its cover.

Close but not really. The original Star Wars was made by a film geek ABSOLUTELY NOT FOR FILM GEEKS. He made the original trilogy for twelve year olds and said so very clearly. YouTubers disagree with George Lucas. Who knew. Interview from a long time ago in a galaxy very close to home.

Not really but it's an attempt at something. I'm all for us all doing something. If someone calls somebody else dumb for bitching about Star Wars Episode VII: The Last Jedi, I neither endorse or deny. So far we have nine episodes. Episode 8 is the most ambitious, daring & challenging. The G.O.A.T. 🖖

If you allow yourself to exist in the sequels in the right way. By now. As soon as you start VII it's like, all of a sudden our hero is a Palpatine. That's perfect & everything she does is 100% perfect. She switches dark / light multiple times. As does Ben. Not killing Leia. It flips it upside down.

Andor helps to educate us in the ways Governmental bodies use lies & propaganda to make palatable death, destruction, theft & mayhem. Star Wars is a valid educational tool for all with eyes to see & ears to hear. We are all Ghorman means, we are all one. Learn the lesson and live in the story.

Someone asked me if I watched The Acolyte stoned, the implication being that I'm talking nonsense? Fair. Maybe. If anything being high confirms my thoughts. I'm watching & rewatching The Acolyte high & its holding up to some serious scrutiny. It's a masterpiece of Star Wars "points of view". I ❤️ it.

The Empire's use of "7" isn't just about "holy authority" in a vacuum; it’s about totalitarian symmetry. In the Bible, 7 is the number of Creation (God’s work). In Narkina 5, the Empire uses 7 to "re-create" the prisoners as mere cogs. In a sense it's a midrashic retelling & repurposing.

The spaghetti analogy Bruce Wayne gives Barry in The Flash is an allegory for unresolved childhood trauma. When he explains an alternate time line crossing away from the norm it's a metaphor for when young people are abused & broken. They go the wrong way unintentionally. As Bruce & Barry did!

Living with Borderline Personality Disorder feels like this all of the time. I have an over emotional Bones shouting; "My God Man" at every decision I make also. BPD is also known as Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. The problem with having a mental illness is pretending you're normal.

I never ever understood when people say Anakin turned too quickly. From the beginning of Attack Of The Clones he's deeply problematic in every scene. Creepy. Confused. Angry. Unable to express himself. Selfish. Sleazy. Turned to soon? His turn began when Qui-Gon took him from his Mother. Failure 👇.

It feels like I'm being engulfed by inner demons I am unable to control. So this checks out. Even more so with my man Borderline Ben Solo. He's a more fleshed out complicated combination of continuous conflict. He hopes Rey Skywalker could fill the gap he alone cannot. 💔❤️‍🩹❤️

If you have a basic grasp of the difference between truth & delusion, Digger is a beautiful film for the ages. I'm a BIG Kubrick fan & this certainly pulls no punches in the sense of pandering to or pleasing the audience. It's authentic & real. The best Tom Cruise performance since Tropic Thunder. 💙

This is the currency of negativity friends. Is that your instant interpretation without much thought? I don't mean to be patronising, I just see this kind of thing as total pandering bullshit. Cut to every comment saying; Disney this and Disney that. Like, they HATED Obi-Wan because of Reva. Tools.

Random thought alert. I find it quite ridiculous that when people want to praise Star Wars or Marvel they mention the creatives. Feige & Filoni down. When they want to criticise & be pissy they say: Disney did a shitty thing or, Disney need to listen etc. People love that stupid bandwagon. 🙈🙉🙊

His name was Mentor. He might have been Athena in disguise. He had wise eyes. Athena's eyes. He was the first to realise Odysseus was still alive in the temple. Every tiny side character feels so well developed & fleshed out. The characters in The Odyssey are so relatable. It's a crazy great movie.

Leia's parental model was trying to foster the potential of the kid. She thought Luke would be able to reach Ben. Han barely knew his Father but related to him via owning a Corellian YT-1300 light freighter. Han's Father helped build these ships when Han was young. He didn't know how to be a Father.

Social Media companies asked algorithms to increase engagement. They learned negativity is more likely to cause interaction than positivity. We're literally living through that legacy. We're the failed experiment. We are the all singing - all dancing crap of the world.

I hope this has been incorporated into Star Wars Episode X. Simon Kinberg. This is the way. The middle episode would be fine if that's where it fits. Just include it. Somehow, Ben Solo survived. Do it!
