More likely to me is that he wanted to help Stolas, and Stolas—who is shown to frequently fantasize about someone sweeping off his feet and exaggerating reality to fit his desires—interpreted it that way. That doesn't necessarily mean Vassago was intentionally romantic with him. 🧵31/?
