I have intentionally acquired these vintage Barbies for the purpose of fixing them and turning the left one into Princess Serenity and the right one into me so I can make matching outfits with her (specifically a matching wedding dress). Mod era barbie is ❤️.

I let the grandma intrusive thoughts win. I found an altered 1975 Ballerina Barbie selling for $20. She's far removed enough from her original advertising & packaging (+ I think her hair's been re-rooted), that my anxiety doesn't flare at the idea of sewing her non-ballerina clothes!
