I’ll do better without AI - Shiv Ramada has won the 2022 Hugo Award for his short story Of Rice and Men he also won a Pulitzer and a couple nebulas for it - no AI needed !

I’m struggling with a new novel, but that struggle is good. I feel my brain and heart stretching to try something new, imagine harder. I feel this might be something truly good and original. Why would I give up that for AI? That’s what makes it worth it and makes me a bit better and happier

The terrible thing about the Anthropic settlement is as soon as they settled the lawsuit their valuation skyrocketed & they became billionaires- the lesson was steal everything and profit! Authors should be paid a share of profits going forward

AI has so many problems but one of them is people - we use it to steal fiction and create viruses and steal art and steal jobs - it was supposed to figure out whale song and invent new antibiotics, but it’s too susceptible to evil.
