Well that's a wrap on the Scottish Birdwatchers' Conference with @scottishbirding.bsky.social. Thanks to everyone who made it such a brilliant weekend! Great talks on Saturday and fab birding excursions on Sunday- early Wheatear were found, Golden Eagles showed, and the Youth Walk was a riot!

An annotated image from an excited BTO colleague- a Golden Eagle over RSPB Insh Marshes. They also saw a Goshawk and, up on Cairngorm, a flock of about 50 Snow Bunting.

Our first ever conference excursion specifically for young people. We had a great time with the young folk and their parents.

Hi Josh- you'll love Argaty! RSPB Loch Lomond is great too. The oakwoods at Loch Katrine are stunning, as are the ones around the Falls of Leny (Callander) and at Glen Finglas. The Lodge at Aberfoyle is fantastic for raptors on a sunny day in spring...
