All of my heroes have been awesome so I always wonder if people have bad heroes or just unfair expectations of them

Revisted Evil Dead 13 and what a blast. Love how over the top and often times hilarious it is, as well as how everyone gets their asses BEAT Only downsides is Mia being the only one acting like a Deadite & the Abomination being a let down (wish it at least looked skeletony like Evil Ash but of Mia)

If Disney can't stop Mickey Mouse from being public domain then Beatty can't do it for a character he doesn't own lol The only possibility is Tribune Entertainment will argue I can't use "Dick Tracy" in my title because it's trademarked. And I can change it to Detective Tracy

Steve Rudzinski @steverudzinski.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

It blows me away how many people message me about Warren Beatty regarding my Dick Tracy movie because it means they think 1. I haven't done a ton of research on what characters are public domain like I already did for Popeye 2. Beatty will succeed where Disney failed

Going to film Wally Meets Dick Tracy in 1.43 ratio for three reasons A: Dick was a comic strip which was squares, so it feels right 2: As a gag I can say it was shot for large format theatrical screens D: Snyder is the blueprint

HorrorHound's film fest this year also felt like it had way less folks checking out films and the responses were all more tepid for films that previously got huge responses elsewhere. No guesses on this but I also noticed it haha

This game is shockingly good. But get it on PS5 or the Switch 1 version where the game is on the physical media

One whole year without my beloved Gizmo Cat. I miss you so much and I hope you're still out there somewhere so I can meet you again I'm so happy I decided to make silly movies with you so that you can live forever in hearts all over the world. It's the least I can do for all of the joy you gave me.

A ton of characters, costumes, locations, sets, and props. The budget was a totally normal mid-budgrt film, over 13 million with inflation. It was just a comedy being silly on purpose.

I always found it funny that anyone thought that killing Freddy Krueger in the real world would get rid of him. Similar to Dr. Manhattan: Being killed in the real world and coming back was the first trick Freddy learned.

Today is the FIVE YEAR anniversary of CarousHELL 2, which is nuts. Was never sure if we'd even make part 2 yet here we are at part 4. There's audio issues in 2 that bug me and a couple scenes I could have tightened up, but so glad this exists.

Steve Rudzinski @steverudzinski.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

The atmosphere and voyeur shots are great and the final act is good but this is so boring, I don't care about any of the characters, there's no story or theme to interest me, and they kill an innocent snake for no reason.
