Cold weather happens. I ran that marathon one year in hat, long-sleeved shirt and tube socks over my hands.

1983 Twin Cities Marathon. A sole runner, mid-stride, on the Mississippi River Road in Minneapolis. Tgere are no spectators. You have to be fast to be the only runner in a marathon photo.
