Here is a new version that splits into parties rather than grouping by "All Americans" and "Republicans."
Grouped bar chart titled "Manufacturing: someone's American Dream, just not mine," showing the percentage who agree with two statements, by party identification. "America would be better off if more Americans worked in manufacturing": Democrats and Democratic leaners 75%, independents 78%, Republicans and Republican leaners 88%. "I would be better off if I worked in a factory": Democrats 27%, independents 20%, Republicans 27%. Strong majorities across parties want more Americans in manufacturing, but only about a quarter or fewer want factory work for themselves. It's okay Peter, just admit you don't understand the discourse!

Have you looked at all into whether it’s possible to use an on-device model in iOS 27 to do TTS on-device? For me that would be the next big step.

I was proud to vote for you and congratulations on a great result! It's encouraging to see you inching toward 10% even in a race where your opponents spent orders of magnitude more money. Thank you for running!

"Socialism has failed everywhere, but it’s flaws are exposed much faster in free countries like the United States..." This truly sounds like it was written by a high-schooler (including using the wrong "its." You guys have fallen so far.

Liberation should never, ever, ever come through "icons" but through solidarity, compassion, understanding, and mutual empowerment. Everything else is celebrity and fandom. And all celebrities will ultimately be fickle.

I think it's a bit silly to peg your article about how statements from experts shouldn't be trusted to other statements from other experts.

The Washington Post laid off hundreds of the country's most dogged reporters today, who did indispensable work holding the powerful accountable at home & abroad. We are heartbroken. Please share with anyone who cares about the future of journalism: www.gofundme.com/f/standing-t...

Karen, do you expect the WaPo Editorial Board to respond to this? I know about the separation between Opinion and the rest of the paper, but Hannah is still one of their coworkers.

The @postopinions.bsky.social is beyond parody at this point. With the president forcing American universities into compliance with his ideological beliefs, their top concern is... Plato?
A headline and subhead from the Washington Post Editorial Board: "Plato falls victim to campus culture wars. Jettisoning the Greek philosopher hurts students who yearn to learn how to reason, argue and think."

As a non-coder, I’ve made a few of these myself and share your excitement. But I do wonder if the barrier to entry may still be too high for most. I suspect the population of people who know enough to vibe-code but don’t know enough to actually code might be pretty small.
