Getting to make their own contribution to the marvel story instead of just being a cavalcade of names and events to make people do the Leo Pointing meme sounds like a good route to go down to me. I chose to be optimistic about this.

I love being right. Marvel “Mystic stuff” next year. X-Men in 2028. Cosmic in 2029. Infinity Saga in 2030.

It’s pretty impressive how you have consistently bad takes.

That’s like… literally games biggest problem right now. 🤣

It seems like the haters think all UB fans are new players entering the game because they saw their blorbos on a pack and they’ll be out of the game in six months. I’ve been playing for 15 years and I find UB to be like 90% a positive for the game.

Reality Fracture packs are weird. I don't think I've ever gotten a dupe within a single pack and they don't follow the echo pair rule. #MTG #MTGArena #MTGRealityFracture #MTGFRA

Out life-gained the life gain deck. Shadowspear ever the MVP. (it helped that we were both drawing SO dead but I had a mana sink and they didn't.) #MTG #MTGArena #MTGBrawl

The store I prereleased at today was completely out of everything. Like they couldn’t even sell play boosters because what they had they had to hold for drafts in the upcoming weeks. If I stop buying Magic it will be because they do HP UB or because I can just never find any godsdamned product!

Had a mid pool. Went 1-2-1. One loss was to a dumb mistake but the other was to having a nightmare mana game against a deck with a real and proper bomb. Overall I had fun in almost all of my games. The format is fun but a bit slow. In 15 years of playing this game I’ve never gone to turns in game 2.

I’m with you on that which is why I pointed out that I don’t feel we need the death threats reason. But yeah it’s for sure good to review every so often to make sure that we aren’t arbitrarily limiting things for reasons that don’t exist anymore.

In fairness two of the three cards that gross people got upset over did deserve their bans and the third I personally think was fine but can see the reasoning well enough to be okay with the ban. So we don’t need that reason to ban/maintain a ban on cards.

I think I fall under hopeless. Which is to say I’m a terminal casual whose competitive edge died years ago. But I strive to be someone who is welcoming to new players and is someone old heads want to invite back to play.

“Loyal to this brand for EIGHT MONTHS…” 🤣🤣🤣 What are you going to tell your wife? Brother go tell her you’re going to get a real job that doesn’t make children cry. I’m certain she’ll be more proud of you.

The marbled rock roast? Yunobos marbled rock roast? The marbled rock roast that Yunobo dug up? The marbled rock roast dug up specifically by Yunobo that changed the youths? (Done in my best Patrick Warburton)

If it had been Silence + Fog I could see it but unlike Protection it doesn’t phase lands. Like this could have been a white Time Stop.
