Reality Fracture packs are weird. I don't think I've ever gotten a dupe within a single pack and they don't follow the echo pair rule. #MTG #MTGArena #MTGRealityFracture #MTGFRA

Out life-gained the life gain deck. Shadowspear ever the MVP. (it helped that we were both drawing SO dead but I had a mana sink and they didn't.) #MTG #MTGArena #MTGBrawl

3 games in with Aerid Konstrari and uuuuhhhh... Maybe artifacts are good. Even in Green. xD

Had a mid pool. Went 1-2-1. One loss was to a dumb mistake but the other was to having a nightmare mana game against a deck with a real and proper bomb. Overall I had fun in almost all of my games. The format is fun but a bit slow. In 15 years of playing this game I’ve never gone to turns in game 2.

Wait… I wonder if the content creator cards for @gavinverhey.bsky.social’s Unknown event at MagicCon Atlanta will be Echoverse versions of ones he’s already done. 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t predict things often because usually I’m overly ambitious. And my miss here was not only massive but disappointing because the Nissa we got instead is brainless and boring.

Home from work which means we back @antodemico.bsky.social’s Wildhearth Kickstarter (which was already at almost 900K when I got to the KS page Congrats Antonio!). Few things feel as good as supporting real artists in the capitalist hellscape of our current world.

One of my Magic design hot takes is that Green’s connection to general enchantments makes no sense and if I could go back and stop the design momentum at the source Green and White would flip how they interact with enchantments.

Quick prediction for the #MTGRealityFracture commander precon: The backup commander will be Nicol Ugin. In the Echoverse the draconian byo never split so they were born as a single dragon with two names like the rest of the normal Elder Dragons.

A gods damned shame that this art is sequestered to Arena. Yet another L for Alchemy.

#MTGRealityFracture Box Sealed idea: Echo pairs can parnter with each other but the legend rule still applies to them as though they had the same name

If I had a bigger platform I’d have some words about Ocarina that would deeply upset a very large swath of people. The original Ocarina, while a good game, is one of the most overrated games ever made. It just doesn’t hold up to the worship it gets.

Everyone’s all Sun Jinwoo this, Gojo that. Siblings, Brooke has more aura in this one scene than the collective aura of every character in every episode of most series. #OnePiece

Starting to think that WotC prioritizes Insta and TikTok for ambassadors and influencers because the audiences there are illiterate. Like if people don’t understand how business or markets work in the slightest it’s gotta be pretty easy to get them to spend but be mad at the creators instead of them

Been struggling. And one of the things I realized is I think I’ve been subconsciously disguising anger as exhaustion. And part of the reason I’m angry is feeling powerless over the state of things and how pervasive the rot seems at all levels. Which is to say fuck Goblin Grounds support victims.
