Dog rescue networks need to relax the “must have a fenced yard” rule. NYC has very very few of those. I assure you there are many appropriate homes in the city for rescue pups. The quality of our homes to safely and lovingly raise a dog is not contingent upon having a backyard.

Lived here for 20 years. Still haven’t been to the Statue of Liberty. But I have a pass to go to the museums. And i go regularly. And the Met Opera, NY Phil, Broadway, Yankee /Mets games, etc. I never take how awesome this city is for granted.

Oh jeez. I’m sorry. But they’re so much fun! I found a breeder in Ohio who is also a vet and she’s known for breeding the healthiest pups. When I’m ready, I’ll do this again but go through her. The health issues are such a bummer. Luckily we didn’t have breathing issues. Hers were all tummy.

Aw. I miss my Frenchie girl so much. Yours is freakin’ adorable. Does he often have tummy issues? Mine did and then we learned it was because she had an elongated soft palate. A quick and fairly inexpensive surgery shortened it and voila! No more tummy issues.
