Dog rescue networks need to relax the “must have a fenced yard” rule. NYC has very very few of those. I assure you there are many appropriate homes in the city for rescue pups. The quality of our homes to safely and lovingly raise a dog is not contingent upon having a backyard.

This is an often-cited bit of misinformation. UCLA’s poli sci department runs the dw-nominate scoring system and ran studies on this. The average elected Dem has gotten more liberal in the last 50 years, not more conservative.
