I usually #run wearing 2 elasticated knee bandages and a liberal application of Volterol. (I've had a lot of knee problems). Decided to try kinesiology tape and seemed to get on fine. I'll give it another go next time. (Plus it's cooler on a hot day 🙂) #running #runnersofbluesky #runchat #running

Stopped on my #run this morning to watch this beautiful #heron at the side of the #Thames. It was perfectly happy for me to take photos, and only decided to move on when a dog trotted by (although the dog showed no interest whatsoever in the heron 🙂)

Thanks.🙂 It is still a concern for me too and I'm incredibly cautious now! Never trust a driver, even on a pedestrian controlled crossing. I've learned that some don't stop even for red lights! 🙂

On a run, crossing at an approved (Pelican) crossing, "green man" illuminated, 2 lanes of traffic stopped to allow me to cross safely. Car in the middle (3rd) lane failed to stop and hit me. Lucky it was just broken bones and a few months on crutches. Never assume a car will stop. Even on a crossing

Today's #run took me past the Bull at Sonning. Apparently it is owned by St Andrew's Church who rent it to Fullers. I think I'd need a good understanding of what made it "sustainable". It seems to be one of those terms that is poorly defined and used without explanation or justification. So I'd need confidence that by buying from that retailer I was making a difference and it wasn't just a marketing ploy.
