Never gets old that my favorite singer still remembers me and likes all my Instagram shit. @jerf.xyz did you end up going?

Also I like the photo as much as that job sucked. But remember, this is all about you defending a deserved man's honor and Chuck as if I couldn't think higher of you, you go and spread the gospel.

When I ran a star wars trading card app in 2015, Bobby came up to ME at our SDCC booth because he recognized me and wanted to say hi. Guy loves "star wars and the four Jamaicans" But really even just between Anthony Crispino and Drunk Uncle he's a HOFer. And pour one out for Ass Dan

@alexnavarro.bsky.social stinks that the closest to jersey is philly but I thought you'd also appreciate how insane this lineup is especially for a three band bill

So jealous you got Despair Factor - new episode incoming? Also did you order the DU vinyl with the totally new unheard track? (Heres one of my favorite shots I got from the three shows on last fall's tour)

Threw this on for the first time in forever and thought maybe @danieltbrennan.bsky.social would get a kick out of it among many other old friends that I don’t know if they’re on the Internet anymore

The original Asbury Lanes was the most important place on earth in my opinion. A clubhouse with the greatest bands in the world. Mike who was the house photographer put together this giant tome of memories, including a few shots of my former group therapy, I mean band, and I appreciate it forever.

Doing a deep reorganize of my desk space to set up my new Mac and I always forget how many insane trading cards I just have lying around

Turns out 17 years ago today I took a train after class at Temple up to Manhattan by myself for what I thought would be my only chance at ever seeing my bloody valentine. Little did I know, but don't regret a fucking thing. Here's an iphone 3g photo of it lol

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 20/09/2025

holy shit, afi reference on voicemail dump truck?!? @jerf.xyz my worlds finally colliding - I've been a fan since 99 going to see them since 02 (including their only headline stone pony show in 03, even flew to LA for the sing the sorrow show) but really, have you seen that dude lately?

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

Might just have to take a trip to Japan for this bad boy, goddamn

2026 should be the year of the kimino-clad guitarist

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

@jerf.xyz did you ever see MCR back in the day at like VFWs or Krome? This was one of the wildest shows ever, the week before they left to record three cheers. First two records are still unstoppable. Man I just wanna talk about music with you for hours

Wrestling games rule because you can make Jalen Brunson fight the Sandman, and to me, that is perfect.

Perfect example: City on Fire is a movie I was obsessed with finding when I discovered Hong Kong/John Woo in high school. A terrible DVD was already long out of print so I ordered a copy from HKFlix, a site my usual. Quality was awful, maybe saw it once. In August, it's out on 4K. Preserve media.

I may be the only person on the planet whose favorite Goggins project is Major League: Back to the Minors, as Billy "Downtown" Anderson - but I'm also a guy who considers Eddie with Whoopi Goldberg a stone cold classic

Also cc: @cpayneonaplane.bsky.social if you guys haven't heard the clarity x10 live version of "what would I say to you now" you haven't lived. I cant find it online anywhere so i'll upload if anyone's interested. PS posted this the other day but I recently found it and it's relevant

Well this is news to me, a documentary about original Pavement drummer Gary Young came out? Gonna have to check this out, hope it's not as much a downer as the Jay Bennett doc was. Cc: @franziamom.bsky.social

Btw recently found this in an old box of press credentials

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 06/03/2025

@jeffgerstmann.com also so HIM could get their breakthrough record out in the US, Jimmy Pop's small label pressed these as HER for trademark reasons. It last sold on discogs for $425, time to offload this thing

000

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 06/03/2025

@jeffgerstmann.com as a former 9th grade cky AND Him fanboy, those first two CKY records are still pretty solid to me. The tracks "to all of you" and "Shippensburg" specifically. Also Haggard, stupidest best movie ever, endlessly quotable.

I have this LP already, so how can I just get a print of this artwork? Damn it’s sick

010

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

Forgot I had these two things I bought the night me and my roommates went to the south Philly best buy to buy the dark knight on Blu ray and I assumed they'd be worth a lot at some point. Wrong again, but hey, fun find while cleaning

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 09/02/2025

Sunday gloom: "I won't give up, it wants me dead, goddamn this voice inside my head". This record remains untouchable

010

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

I've low key wanted one of these atomic space tones since like 2007, thing sounds so beaufiful. Goddamn

010

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

And these are the ones currently on standby or just for recording mainly. That Keeley reverse reverb is pretty damn disappointing though. Makes me "he can't see without his glasses!" my girl level sad if I think about it too much

000

steve cic @stevecic.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

Favorite trick is run the MXR OD into the fuzz and then into the digiverb, massive MBVish reverse swells. But need to revisit the whole thing cause I just replaced my ditto with the MXR 720, such an improvement
