Does anyone know anything about "ehnow.ca"? I mean, I guess I applaud the effort and the sentiment, but I feel like it's going against the current to stand up yet another segregated social network.

A screenshot of a marketing email I received from "ehnow.ca". Text Bernie is quoted from the email.

EH! is an independent, woman owned Canadian company, built and operated right here at home. Your data stays in Canada under Canadian laws, because Canadians deserve a place to connect that isn’t controlled by a global tech giant.

I absolutely love discovering a new band for the first time, especially when they check all my boxes; - punk melodies - harmonized vocals - "woah-ohs" in the choruses Even though it's not technically the first time I've heard Bad Cop Bad Cop, (first was on a Fat Wreck Chords compilation years […]

This Google TV background low key reminds me of Mic Mac Mall's Woody the Christmas Tree.

A Google TV background that I know nothing about. It seems to involve a yellow face embedded in what looks to be the base of a vertical spire of some sort.

My wife was reading an obituary from someone she went to high school with. It sucks knowing that people your age are dying, but that's beside the point that obituary was one of the most un-hinged I've ever read. Take this paragraph for example. I know people […] [Original post on social.dinn.ca]

The new album from Rick White & Julie Doiron is probably the closest thing we'll get to an Eric's Trip reunion album. It's pretty good. The early 90s nostalgia is peak. rickwhitearchive.bandcamp.com/album…
